About
Michelle Budak serves as Executive Administrator to the Edward H. Arnold Dean of the Hesburgh Libraries and Vice President and Associate Provost and brings more than two decades of professional leadership and business experience across operations, administration, and organizational strategy. Known for a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, Budak has supported executive leadership, managed complex initiatives, and driven operational excellence through thoughtful planning, relationship building, and effective communication.
In her role, Budak provides executive support and strategic counsel across the multiple organizations and special initiatives led by the Dean/VP/AP. She oversees operations and administrative staff within the Hesburgh Libraries Office of the Dean and serves as the principal lead for high-profile institutional events, stewardship initiatives, and engagement with the Hesburgh Libraries Advisory Council. In addition, she supports the work of key library committees and manages special initiatives on behalf of the Dean.
Budak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from California State University, Los Angeles, as well as a master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana University, South Bend.
