Realignment Team is responsible for making recommendations to the Dean and other members of the Executive Team; we are not the ultimate decision-makers, and implementation of approved recommendations is outside of our scope. The Implementation Phase will put into place the process, procedure, and mechanics of recommendations that are approved by the Dean.

This process will be objective and inclusive, with ongoing opportunities for feedback. In addition to providing regular updates and opportunities for listening sessions, you are free to reach out to any team member if you have specific questions or would like to schedule a 1:1.

The team “will examine library and higher education trends, benchmark against our peers, procure feedback from all library employees, and engage in robust dialogue around how we can best fulfill our mission and move toward our vision.” The Dean will serve as the Executive Sponsor, and Marcy will lead the team with support from HR partners Amy Lehman and Matthew Blazjewski.
