About

Purpose:

The Employee Portal Governance Working Group is charged with assessing, creating, reviewing, and maintaining the Hesburgh Libraries Employee Portal. This team will continue to uphold decisions made by and guidance provided by previous working groups, including Intranet Migration, Intranet Migration and Governance, and Wiki Migration.

Working Group members are expected to:
- Propose policy guidelines for information storage in the portal
- Collect program-specific information from program stakeholders manage
- The process for uploading, embedding and linking information
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, then annual governance meetings
- Maintain the portal, keeping it updated and current

- Act as governance for new requests

Decision making scope:

Working Group members will:

  • Have the authority to propose policy guidelines for information stored in the Employee Portal to be approved by the Edward H. Arnold Dean or his designee(s)
  • Have the authority to decide how the information will be stored
  • Have the authority to decide who will be eligible for adding information to the portal
  • Have the authority to decide what information will be stored in the portal
