Cinda May is the Digital Preservation Strategist for the Hesburgh Libraries. She holds a M.A. in history from Indiana University, Indianapolis; a M.I.L.S. (Master of Information & Library Science) from the University of Michigan; and a M.A. in English from The University of Texas at Austin. Her undergraduate degree in English was granted by the University of New Orleans. Cinda is responsible for the development and implementation of the Libraries' digital preservation policy that ensures continued long term access to the University's digital collections. In addition to her commitment to the sustainability of digital assets, Cinda is a public historian whose experience includes developing digital libraries, oral history projects, historic preservation surveys, and documenting local history.
