Laura is director of the Resource Acquisitions & Discovery Program, better known as RAD. The program provides a wide range of functional expertise in the areas of resource sharing, resource acquisition, and collection description and metadata management. The program has three main units;
RAD is proud to support the Libraries mission of Connecting People to Knowledge through patron-oriented services such as borrowing of interlibrary loan material for the Notre Dame community, resource acquisitions of all types and methods, and resource discovery through cataloging of library collections, solid access to electronic resources, and metadata creation and enrichment for digital collection and research information initiatives.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Laura holds a bachelor's degree in French and master's degree in Library and Information Studies.
